It can be a frustrating feeling to spin in limbo land after your mormon faith crisis. It is normal to need time to figure out what steps you want to take next, but it is easy to get stuck in that space.

It can be a frustrating feeling to spin in limbo land after your mormon faith crisis. Should you just fake it? Should you get out of dodge? Should you tell someone?

All of those questions feel very overwhelming during the early days of seeing the world differently. Early days of your paradigm shift.

It is normal to need time to figure out what steps you want to take next, but it is easy to get stuck in that space. You know why? Because it feels more comfortable to spin in confusion than to take the leap of faith (ironically) and leave, when you have no idea what leaving really feels like. You have no idea what friends and family are going to think. So, it is feels easier to not make any moves. The problem with this is you are feeling all the uncomfortable feelings anyway.

Your brain is trying to protect you from leaving the cave. It is your brains job to protect you from danger. This goes way back in our DNA as death was certain if we left our tribe. That same brain is trying to keep you safe.
