Perfectionism! Ewwww. You may not even think you are a perfectionist and I am going to show you how perfectionism masks itself as doubt and how it may be stopping you from achieving what you want in life. We have lots and lots of layers to work through leaving the faith.

Perfectionism! Ewwww.

Anyone who has been raised with religion has had the background underlining belief that we need to strive for perfection. Mormonism is no different. Even if logically you know that it is possible to obtain any kind of perfection, it is often the soundtrack that plays throughout your life. That constant drive toward becoming perfect, even as your father in heaven is perfect.

Let’s throw that type of thinking out the door and on the pile of conditioning we are ditching.

The truth is perfection is stagnation.

You may not even think you are a perfectionist?

I am going to show you how perfectionism masks itself as doubt and how it may be stopping you from achieving what you want in life. We have lots and lots of layers to work through leaving the mormon faith.

This week we dive into the perfectionism we were constantly striving for and never attaining. I tell you why this happens and exactly how you can become a recovering perfectionist, like me.
